When God created woman...

When God created woman, he was working late on the 6th day.

An angel came by and asked, “Why spend so much time on her?"

The Lord answered, “Have you seen all the specifications I

have to meet to shape her?

She must function in all kinds of situations.

She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time.

Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to

a broken heart.

She must do all this with only two hands.

She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day.”

The angel was impressed, "Just two hands...impossible!

And this is the standard model?"

The angel came closer and touched the woman.

“But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft", said the Lord,

"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she

can endure and overcome."

"Can she think?" The angel asked.

The Lord answered, "Not only can she think, she can reason

and negotiate."

The angel touched her cheeks.

"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put

too many burdens on her." "She is not leaking...it is a tear"

the Lord corrected the angel. "What's it for?" Asked the angel.

The Lord said, “Tears are her way of expressing her grief,

her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering, and her pride."

This made a big impression on the angel,

"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.

A woman is indeed marvelous!"

Lord said, “Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.

She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love, and opinions.

She smiles when she feels like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying.

Cries when happy and laughs when afraid.

She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.

Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies

but she finds strength to get on with life."

The angel asked: "So she is a perfect being?"

The Lord replied, "No. She has just one drawback...

she often forgets what She is worth.”

Excerpts from George Carlin:

Excerpts from George Carlin:

We drink too much,

smoke too much,

spend too recklessly,

laugh too little,

drive too fast,

get too angry,

stay up too late,

get up too tired,

read too little,

watch TV too much,

and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions,

but reduced our values.

We talk too much,

love too seldom and hate too often.

Remember, spend some time with your loved ones,

because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to

someone who looks up to you in awe,

because that little person soon will

grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to

the one next to you,

because that is the only treasure

you can give with your heart and

it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, "I love you"

to your partner and your loved ones,

but most of all mean it. A kiss and an

embrace will mend hurt when it

comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish

the moment for someday that person

will not be there again. Give time to love,

give time to speak, and give time to share

the precious thoughts in your mind.

May God Bless You All and Keep You All Safe!

What lies behind us and

What lies before us

are tiny matters compared to

What lies within us.

There was yet another school shooting....

There was yet another school shooting in Iowa today.

or yesterday…as I am reading, I first come to this:

Jan. 5, 2024, 12:18 AM UTC

'He got tired of the bullying,' classmates say of the shooter.

The Associated Press

Sisters Yesenia Roeder and Khamya Hall, both 17,
said alongside their mother, Alita, that the 17-year-old
classmate who police identified as the shooter had been.
bullied relentlessly since elementary school. That escalated.
recently, they said, when his younger sister started getting
picked on, too. Officials at the school didn’t intervene, they said,
and that was “the last straw” for the shooter. “He was hurting.
He got tired. He got tired of the bullying. He got tired of the
harassment,” Yesenia Roeder Hall, 17, said. “Was it a smart
idea to shoot up the school? No. God, no.”

Then later toward the end of the article they the investigators say,
and I quote, "We are still looking for a motive/reason for
this senseless killing!"

Truly I say to you, Maybe just maybe if the damn School
System would pay attention to these children being bullied
from early grades on up and start paying attention to whom
the bullies are cause they sure as hell know, they just turn their
backs and sometimes even assist in the bullying…we ALL have
a breaking point and these kids have hit it…I am going to stick
my neck out and say that not one school shooter woke up one
day and decided to shoot up a school …if they tell a child if you
see it say it…that is a joke because whoever has seen it and has
said it are now on the end of even more bullying and so on
and so forth…The ones that the children are supposed to tell,
turn their backs on these children.... time and time again....
Now a days this kind of daily ritual for the children being
bullied is horrendous....and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE…
Schools Take RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LACK OF…
HELP THESE CHILDREN BEFORE THEY COMMIT
SUICIDE OR BECOME SHOOTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
