Prayers for this beautiful Lady......

Dear Rory....May the Good Lord hold you as you travel this journey you are on....My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.....He will not forsake you....

“Two Horses.
There were two horses in a field.  From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.  But if you get a closer look you will notice something quite interesting… One of the horses is blind.  His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made him a safe and comfortable barn to live in. This alone is pretty amazing.  But if you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. It is coming from a smaller horse in the field.  Attached to the horse’s halter is a small, copper-colored bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.  As you stand and watch these two friends you’ll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting he will not be led astray.  When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, he will stop occasionally to look back, making sure that the blind friend isn’t too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect. Or because we have problems or challenges.  He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.  Sometimes we are the blind horse, being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
And at other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way.  Good friends are like that. You may not always see them, but you know they are always there.
Please listen for my bell, and I will listen for yours”.

Ryans' day at Childrens....

 Last week.......

We went under the impression that Ryan was going to be sedated and have his bowels emptied since he was so impacted.  I was told by the pediatricians office personnel that Children's was expecting us at the ER...So off we went to Buffalo, NY.  We arrived and they didn't even know what we wee there for....I explained to them what was told to me and they told me that isn't done there anymore.

So we went from one room to another...and then had an x-ray taken....Yes Ryan is very Constipated!!!!!   Really I could have told you that.  He is given a huge bottle of Miralax to take dissolved in a 64oz of Gatorade over a 6-8hr period.  And off home we headed.

Good thing I had asked for a Doctors excuse for Ryan to be absent from school cause he was absent for practically the entire week.  Poor little thing had nothing but the runs....We have finally come to a point where he can go back to school with no worry of having an accident.

I had read some really not so nice things about the affects that Miralax had on children and since the Drs.' have had Ryan on some kind of dosage of Miralax since he was just a baby...Beside the fact that it has never even been tested on the effects in Children.....I took him off of it and went and researched a safer and hopefully a healthier way for Ryan to keep from being Constipated.  We bought lots of different fruits, some Fig Newton's, ect.!  Then I purchased Benifiber and Ryan started moving his bowels almost immediately within the first day of taking it......and moving his bowels normally.

Ryan says he feels so much better....he seems alert and more focused than he had been the last couple of months. We will keep praying that Ryan can continue on this road and recover to some kind of normal status.

Happy Belated Anniversary and Happy Belated Birthday Honey!!!!!
